About the Role: The Company is seeking an Executive Director for the Krantz Institute, a pioneering initiative dedicated to the intersection of artificial intelligence, ethics, and humanity. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the Institute as a national and global leader in the exploration of AI's impact on society, with a strong emphasis on humanistic values and ethical considerations. This role involves strategic and operational leadership, convening global thought leaders, and cultivating student formation and leadership in the context of AI. The Executive Director will also be tasked with advancing curricular and internal innovation, and will be expected to develop and guide the Institute's core programmatic pillars, including AI and human flourishing, democracy, the economy, healthcare, and faith. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of 10 years' leadership experience, with a preference for those holding a Ph. D. or equivalent terminal degree. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record of scholarly or professional achievement, exceptional communication, resource management, and relationship-building skills, and a strong entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to the mission of the company, particularly in the areas of formative education and ethical discernment. Responsibilities also include interdisciplinary integration, faculty support, external partnerships, and fundraising.
