Resident Engineer - Manhattan New York, NY

About the Role: EnTech is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a “Resident Engineer” for a NYCParks project to restore the structures to a state of good repair and to extend the useful service life of waterfront assets.

Responsibilities: Provide on-site engineering oversight for pile installation, pile repair, and deep foundation construction. Oversee marine construction operations, including work in tidal zones and waterfront structures. Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, design teams, and client representatives. Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Maintain daily reports, progress documentation, and quality control records. Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets. Enforce safety protocols and environmental compliance regulations.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology, Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering OSHA 30 Experience in construction, specialized in heavy construction, pile foundation, waterfront/marine construction, and/or structural work. Experience working with New York City agencies. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work full‑time on-site in Manhattan.
