ASAPAbout the Position We are seeking a qualified Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services at a hospital in Flint, Michigan. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with 10- and 12-hour shifts in a busy surgical setting. The CRNA will work under physician supervision and provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures. Pediatric cases are not included. Schedule & Facility Details· 2–3 shifts per week· 10- and 12-hour shifts· Weekend coverage required· No call responsibilities· 16 operating rooms· Approximately 35 surgical cases per day· No pain management cases· No pediatric cases· EMR: Cerner
Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.· Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and review patient medical histories.· Develop and implement anesthesia care plans under physician supervision.· Monitor patients throughout anesthesia and surgical procedures.· Manage patient airway, vital signs, and anesthesia-related needs.· Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patient recovery.· Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.· Maintain accurate documentation and comply with established clinical protocols.
Requirements:
- Current Michigan CRNA license.· Certification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).· Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).· Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).· AANA membership or applicable credentialing requirements.
