Remote Tax Accountant

About the Opportunity: We are partnering with a growing CPA firm that is looking to add a Remote Tax Accountant to its team. What You'll Do: Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses Prepare tax returns including: Individual (1040)Partnership (1065)S-Corporation (1120S)Corporation (1120)Trust & Estate (1041)Assist with tax planning projects and year-end projections Research tax issues and communicate findings to clients and team members Respond to IRS and state tax notices Work directly with clients to gather information and answer questions Collaborate with partners, managers, and staff on client engagements Qualifications 2+ years of public accounting tax experience Experience preparing individual and business tax returnsCPA, EA, CPA Candidate, or MST preferred but not required Strong communication and client service skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Experience with tax software such as CCH Axcess, Ultra Tax, Lacerte, Pro System fx, Drake, or similar platforms Why Consider This Role?
