We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Development & Costing Assistant to support the Product Development and Costing teams for a leading apparel and specialty retail organization. This is a short-term, hands-on assignment focused primarily on data migration, file organization, and administrative support. Assignment Details
Duration: Through the end of the year
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Hybrid: In office 3 days a week
Employment Type: Temporary assignment
Pay: up to $35/hr pending experience level
This is a great opportunity for someone with fashion/apparel product development experience who is highly organized, comfortable working with product data, and able to jump into a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support a data migration project between internal systems
- Download, organize, save, and transfer Tech Packs (TPs) and related product documentation
- Assist with maintaining accurate and organized product development and costing files
- Perform data entry and general administrative support for the PD/Costing team
- Review information for completeness and accuracy during the migration process
- Assist with additional short-term projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous Product Development experience preferred, ideally within fashion, apparel, xuwmhxw retail, or a related industry
- Experience working with Tech Packs and product documentation is highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable handling repetitive, detail-heavy data and file management tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with a PLM system, particularly Bamboo Rose or Centric PLM, is a major plus
- Ability to quickly learn internal systems and work independently
