Principal Foundry & AIP Engineer

Location: Remote We're partnering with the world's leading provider of technology-enabled claims and risk management solutions to support the growth of its enterprise AI engineering organization. We're seeking Senior and Principal Foundry & AIP Engineers to build and operate production AI solutions using Palantir Foundry and AIP. These are hands-on engineering roles focused on enterprise data, operational applications, AI agents, workflows, and automation.

What You'll Do: Design, build, deploy, and operate production solutions using Palantir Foundry and AIPDevelop Foundry Ontology, pipelines, transforms, Workshop applications, Actions, Functions, and Code Repositories Build AIP Logic and AI agent workflows involving tool use, orchestration, evaluation, provenance, and human-in-the-loop controls Integrate Foundry/AIP with enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, identity systems, and existing infrastructure Develop production solutions using Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark, and REST APIsBuild user-facing applications using React or comparable modern frontend technologies Build and operate supporting infrastructure in AWS using Terraform and Git Hub Actions Implement security, access controls, logging, monitoring, observability, and production safeguards Work directly with examiners, adjusters, operations teams, and other business users to translate real-world processes into technical solutions Collaborate closely with Palantir Forward Deployed Engineers and internal engineering, data, platform, security, and architecture teams Troubleshoot and optimize production solutions for reliability, data quality, performance, and scalability Contribute to shared enterprise capabilities and engineering standards Multiple Openings: Senior Foundry & AIP Engineer 6–8 years of software engineering experience 3+ years of production experience with data applications, operational UIs, AI-assisted workflows, GenAI applications, or similar systems Hands-on Palantir Foundry experience, including pipelines/transforms, Ontology, Workshop, and preferably Actions/Functions and Code Repositories Production AI/LLM or AI-assisted workflow experience with evaluation, failure handling, and human review Strong Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark, and REST API experienceAWS, Git Hub Actions, and Terraform Experience building production applications and user-facing interfaces Comfortable working directly with end users and pairing with vendor/FDE teams Principal Foundry & AIP Engineer 10+ years of software engineering experience 4+ years owning production GenAI/applied-AI systems 4+ years of forward-deployed, embedded, or customer-facing delivery Deep production Palantir Foundry experience, including Ontology, pipelines/transforms, Workshop, and Code Repositories Strong Python plus Type Script or Java, with SQL and Spark/PySpark Production AIP/agent experience involving evaluation, provenance, human confirmation, and tool useAWS, React or comparable frontend, Git Hub Actions, and Terraform Ability to shape ambiguous operational problems into scoped technical solutions Technical leadership experience without people-management authority Comfortable co-leading delivery with Palantir FDEs and working directly with business users

Note: These are hands-on production engineering roles. We're looking for candidates who have built and shipped production Foundry and/or AIP solutions.
