Senior Systems Administrator Jobs

Job Type: Hybrid 2-3 days onsite in Washington, DC

Description: Our client seeks an experienced Systems Administrator to support Azure Cloud Operations for the NTIA Federal Network Operations Center (NOC). This role involves managing and maintaining critical IT infrastructure and ensuring the security and reliability of cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and virtual machines. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation. Implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive data and systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs and projects. Provide technical support and guidance to junior IT staff. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience in systems administration, preferably in a cloud environment. Proven experience with Azure cloud platform and related services. Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration best practices. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NTIA or other federal agencies. Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and methodologies. Certifications such as Azure Administrator, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+.
