About The Position: The Machine Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating packaging machinery. The role includes setting up equipment, monitoring packaging quality, documenting production data, and ensuring compliance with food safety, HACCP, and GMP standards. The operator will support production of poultry batter and biscuit mixed chubs, working closely with blenders, packers, QA, and supervisors.

What You'll Do: Set up, operate, and monitor packaging equipment safely and efficiently. Prepare equipment for production runs, including film, printer ribbons, chub print, and check weighers. Enter production information and verify dates, batch numbers, labels, barcodes, and product weights for accuracy. Complete required allergen, labeling, and traceability checks. Perform routine equipment adjustments and basic troubleshooting to support production flow. Communicate with Blenders, Packers, QA, and supervisors to keep production running smoothly. Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For: Basic math and intermediate reading skills. Ability to follow production instructions and complete required documentation packaging machinery experience preferred. Knowledge of or ability to learn HACCP, GMP, and food safety requirements. Ability to distinguish colors and safely perform physical production duties. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb stairs or ladders. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and push or pull materials using appropriate equipment.
