POD PROCESS RESPONSIBILITIES: Reviews, sorts, and verifies POD reports received daily from customersVerifies customer purchases and payments; working with customers regarding discrepanciesReviews and verifies customer payments madeIssues POD credit memosWorks closely with Accounting, Customers, Sales, and Management when questions arise and approval amounts are requiredBILLING RESPONSIBILITIES:Works with and shares daily responsibilities of invoicing and credits for Chattanooga distributionInvoices - Daily processing and preparing of invoices for mailing; involves reviewing status of orders shipped and verifying accuracy of calculationsCredits - Working closely with Accounting, Customer Service, Sales, and Accounts Receivable receives, verifies, and processes internal and external credits for deductions and complaintsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Proficiency with Office (especially Excel) Organized: high level of data accuracy/attention to detailProblem Solver: sees multiple facets of issues and ability to identify root causesProcessed: able to follow strict steps consistentlyGood Communicator: able to inquire, challenge, affirm, or relay information assertively and effectivelyAccountability driverAbility to manage multiple responsibilities and perform different tasks effectivelySince 1927 Southern Champion Tray (SCT) has become a leading manufacturer and distributor of stock and custom paperboard packaging products for over 1,100 customers, such as Baskin-Robbins, Albertsons, Sysco, and Dairy Queen, in 13 countries across multiple industry segments, including bakery, restaurant/food-service, consumer packaged goods, and others.
