This position leads the company’s Quality Assurance function and is responsible for product quality and inspection, maintaining the companies ISO system, managing the QA department, and all customer related quality documents and responses. As a companywide resource for quality initiatives, the Quality Assurance Manager works across departments to establish and maintain consistent quality standards, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure customer requirements are understood and met.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and supervise the Quality Assurance department
· Maintain and continuously improve the company’s Quality Assurance program
· Ensure consistent application of QA standards and procedures throughout the organization.
· Serve as a companywide resource for quality-related initiatives
· Ensure compliance with company procedures, and Quality Management System (QMS)
· Provide training related to quality processes, inspection procedures, and QMS requirements.
· Perform and oversee inspections, quality checks, and statistical techniques used to verify product quality.
· Identify quality issues and work collaboratively to develop effective corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, ISO 9001 or manufacturing qualityORa degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing Technology, or a related discipline.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
· Ability to use inspection equipment to verify part quality and record inspection data.
· Knowledge of inspection methods and statistical quality techniques.
· Ability to teach, implement, and enforce QMS requirements.
· Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
· Ability to participate ISO 9001:2015 audits.
