Mechanical Assembler
Location: Streator, IL
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour (higher starting pay may be considered based on experience and skill set)
About the Opportunity: Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty automotive lifts in Streator, IL. We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
  • Assemble components for heavy-duty automotive lifts according to specifications and quality standards
  • Work as part of a small assembly team, typically consisting of four team members with assigned responsibilities
  • Receive training on assembly processes and perform duties independently once trained
  • Use hand and power tools to fit, secure, and assemble parts
  • Inspect assemblies to ensure accuracy, functionality, and quality
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and meet production goals
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Assist with testing and troubleshooting assembled components as needed
Qualifications:
  • Previous mechanical assembly, manufacturing, production, or related experience preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and blueprints is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
