A Windows System Administrator will support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems at the Maryland office under a new prime contract.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Windows and mostly Windows-based IT systems.
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components.
Perform day‐to‐day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
Deliver TierI (Help Desk) and Tier2 (Escalation) support, diagnosing and resolving issues, and escalating as needed.
Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems and assist users with system access.
Optimize system operations, analyze capacity, and plan for resources.
Provide escalated ticket reporting and status communication to agency management and internal customers.
Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university; alternatively, four (4) additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a total of fourteen (14) years of experience.
- Compliance with DoD8570.01‐M and minimum IAM Level
- I certification.
Clearance:
Security clearance required: TS/SCI Poly. Compensation$140,000 – $180,000 (annually, subject to variation based on responsibilities, experience, and market data).
