This role supports staff performance, enhances patient satisfaction, and ensures adherence to organizational policies and financial procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the Patient Pay TeamEnsure team compliance with updated patient payment policies and procedures
- Review and approve financial hardship applications
- Review and approve patient payment plan requests
- Implement and maintain department procedures and workflow improvements
- Monitor and manage team workloads to ensure productivity and timely account resolution
- Assist with resolving escalated patient concerns and upset patient situations professionally
- Review and approve patient refund requests in accordance with company policy
- Support team members with patient calls and account inquiries as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to address account concerns and improve communication
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to patient payment activities
- Ensure high levels of customer service and patient satisfaction
