Psychiatrist

Qualifications: MD or DO licensed in North Carolina and South CarolinaASAM certification or Board Certification in Addiction Medicine Significant clinical experience in the substance use disorder field Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills

Responsibilities: Assist the Medical Director in leading the clinical team Provide outpatient medical services to select patients Oversee medical care, including histories, physicals, and detox supervision Collaborate closely with nursing, medical, and clinical staff Participate in on-call coverage (every other week)Engage in clinical meetings, peer-to-peer reviews, and professional assessments Deliver education to patients, families, professionals, and external audiences Ensure compliance with CARF standards, licensure requirements, and ethical medical practice

Requirements: Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience with detox, dual diagnosis, and recovery-based treatment models Ability to maintain accurate medical records and meet regulatory standards Must have satisfactory criminal background check and clean urine drug screen.
