Psychiatry Physician Assistant

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LCSW or LMHC to join our growing behavioral health program. This provider will provide therapeutic interventions, counseling, and support to clients with diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of mental health challenges. The LMHC or LCSW, under the supervision of the Physician(s) who acts as the collaborative practitioner(s), is responsible for: Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate clients mental health needsProvide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups using evidence-based therapeutic modalitiesCollaborate with interdisciplinary team (primary care, psychiatrist, other team members) to ensure coordinated care and treatment continuityAdvocate for clients rights and access to resources, facilitating referrals to community sources and support services as neededDocumenting in a timely and thorough mannerKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgroundsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with care teamCommitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional integrityStrong communication skillpssStrong medical decision-making skillsDisplaying a caring and professional attitude at all timesSCHEDULE DETAILS:Schedule Details: Monday FridayREQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Master s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Mental Health Counseling (LMHC)LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION:Current, valid Florida LCSW or LMHC licenseBLS
