As a primary technical bridge between enterprise customers and internal teams, the full-time remote Senior Staff Forward Deployed Engineer will architect and prototype AI-driven solutions, engage with Fortune 500 stakeholders to address data governance challenges, and build BI and ML pipelines to deliver executive insights.
Key responsibilities:
Architect and prototype AI agent systems to automate complex reasoning tasks and data governance processes
Engage with stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps based on Alation's capabilities
Build and deploy BI and ML pipelines that convert data into actionable insights demonstrating measurable ROI
Required qualifications:
12+ years in software engineering with experience in customer-facing technical leadership roles
Hands-on expertise with LLM orchestration frameworks and fine-tuning ML models for enterprise applications
Proven experience delivering large-scale BI and data pipeline solutions
Architectural knowledge of distributed systems and enterprise data governance
Strong executive presence with the ability to build trust with Fortune 500 stakeholders
