Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Chesapeake Search Partners Partner and Director of Recruiting Operations at Chesapeake Search Partners Senior Accountant We're looking for a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of our accounting operations at a growing insurance company. If you're used to wearing many hats, managing the full close, and running a tight Quick Books setup, this is your chance to step into a high-impact role.

What You'll Do: Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting Handle daily accounting operations: AP/AR, journal entries, bank recs, accruals Maintain clean books in Quick Books Online Prepare and analyze financial statements Coordinate with external CPA firm for audits & tax Build and improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation Support financial planning & analysis alongside leadership

What We're Looking For: 5+ years in accounting, ideally in insurance, financial services, or a mid-sized company Strong grasp of GAAP and end-to-end accounting Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working independently Quick Books Online power user CPA or CPA track is a plus Comfortable in a dynamic, growing company where you can drive change
