Role Description:
The Front Desk Agent role at SOC is a full-time, remote position responsible for being the first point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include answering and routing phone calls, responding to inquiries via digital channels, and managing reservations or scheduling requests related to SOC’s services. The Front Desk Agent will handle receptionist duties such as maintaining accurate records, updating customer information, and ensuring timely follow-up on requests. This role also involves providing clear and courteous customer service, resolving basic issues, and escalating more complex matters to appropriate team members. The agent will collaborate with other departments, adhere to established procedures, and contribute to a professional and organized virtual front desk experience.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Receptionist Duties skills to manage inquiries and support clients effectively. Candidates should possess solid Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to handle calls professionally and convey information clearly. Candidates should possess experience with Reservations and basic scheduling or booking procedures to coordinate appointments and service requests. Candidates should possess proficiency with office and communication tools (e.g., email, chat, CRM systems) and the ability to learn new software quickly. Candidates should possess organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, remote environment. Candidates should possess a customer-focused mindset, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a distributed team. Previous experience in front desk, call center, or administrative support roles and familiarity with technology or SaaS environments are beneficial. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education in administration, communication, or related fields is an advantage.
