In our Livonia Contract Manufacturing Operation, you'll assemble advanced vehicles for innovative automotive customers—spanning off‐road tactical military applications, self‐driving/autonomous programs, and electric vehicle platforms. The work is low‐volume and highly technical, making every build a chance to learn. As we grow, full‐time employment opportunities may be available to the right candidates. How you'll contribute Follow detailed written procedures to complete mechanical assemblies. Use manual and power tools with safety and care. Troubleshoot issues using strong mechanical aptitude and sound judgment. Keep your station orderly and your documentation accurate. Communicate clearly with teammates and leads to meet quality goals. Support overtime and weekend needs when schedules demand it. What you need to succeed 1 year of recent, hands‐on assembly experience in an automotive manufacturing environment. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be a US citizen. Basic understanding of automotive systems; mechanically inclined. Ability to read, comprehend, and execute written instructions. Strong problem‐solving skills, attention to detail, and organization. Self‐motivated with good oral and written communication skills. Excellent attendance and reliability; willing to work overtime/weekends.
Preferred background: Automotive mechanic or co‐op experience. Automotive electrical systems exposure. A basic personal set of mechanic tools. Proficiencies Maintenance and Repair Skills Automotive Repair & Service SystemsEOE (Veteran/Disability)
