The purpose of this service is to ensure effective design, validation, and implementation of returnable packaging solutions that meet OEM and Tier 1 supplier requirements while maintaining cost efficiency, quality, and production readiness while keeping reworks and waste at its minimum. The field service component provides on-site technical support during key validation stages at customer plants, Tier 1 OEMs, Packaging fabricators and Design Houses all this to ensure seamless coordination between design, manufacturing, and production approval processes. Objectives To provide comprehensive packaging engineering and project management oversight from concept to production. To ensure packaging designs are technically validated and meet production, quality, automation, ergonomics, layout and safety requirements. To reduce lead times, rework, and cost overruns through proactive coordination and technical support. To ensure all packaging solutions are production-approved, traceable, and aligned with customer standards. To ensure all packaging is functional and delivered by production launch to eliminate waste and disposable packaging from the customer plants. Qualifications:
The individual must be a highly skilled subject matter expert with proven experience in packaging program management and technical support. This role requires: Demonstrated ability to deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies through innovative packaging solutions and process improvements. Expertise in rack design, build, fabrication, and fixturing, ensuring alignment with automation, ergonomics, and production requirements. Strong technical knowledge in CAD review, dimensional validation, and prototype development. A track record of approved cost-saving initiatives with Stellantis or other OEMs, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and objectives. Ability to offset additional manpower requirements through unique skill sets that streamline workflows and reduce rework, without impacting project budgets. Proven capability to drive efficiencies and maintain quality standards across multiple stakeholders, including OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and packaging fabricators. 8. Justification These qualifications are critical to achieving cost savings and operational efficiency.
