Apply for this role →We are supporting an estimating opportunity in Houston focused on municipal water and wastewater construction projects. The position would involve preparing bids for water and wastewater infrastructure work, reviewing plans and specifications, developing quantities and costs, and coordinating with operations teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
Salary:
$110,000-$155,000 base, depending on experience. Job Specifications: Prepare estimates and bids for water and wastewater construction projects. Complete takeoffs and review drawings, specifications and bid documents. Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier pricing. Work with project teams to review risks, scope and construction methods.
Key Requirements:
Estimating experience with a water/wastewater or heavy civil contractor.
Experience pricing municipal infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, quantities and costs.
Ability to manage bid deadlines and coordinate with project teams.
