What a Day Looks Like Set up, operate, and keep watch over foundry and production equipment to keep output on pace. Prepare molds and assist with safe, accurate pours of molten metal. Check dimensions and surfaces so every casting meets spec. Keep your station clean, organized, and aligned with safety rules and LOTO procedures. Team up with coworkers to troubleshoot any hiccups and keep production flowing. Document what you run, what you inspect, and what you ship. Grow skills through hands-on training—no prior foundry experience required.
