What You'll Do as an Assembly Technician: Assemble industrial equipment and subassemblies using detailed work instructions and technical drawings. Install mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components with accuracy and attention to detail. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to ensure quality workmanship. Perform equipment inspections and functional testing to verify proper operation before final approval. Identify and communicate material shortages, quality concerns, or assembly issues to the production team. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following established safety procedures. Assist with troubleshooting, adjustments, and continuous improvement other production areas as needed to help meet manufacturing goals. Follow quality standards, work instructions, and company procedures throughout the assembly process.
Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. One to three years of manufacturing, mechanical assembly, industrial production, or maintenance experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, and basic wiring diagrams. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment. Forklift experience is a plus or willingness to become certified. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work in a manufacturing environment requiring standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement. We don't hire temps, we hire TEAMMATES!
