Accounting Payroll

Role Description: The Accounting Payroll role at Miracles Fashion World is a full-time, on-site position based in Princeton, TX. This role is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, including collecting and verifying timekeeping data, calculating pay, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll runs. Day-to-day tasks include managing payroll records, handling garnishments and other deductions, coordinating with payroll service providers, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations. The role also involves resolving employee payroll inquiries, reconciling payroll reports with accounting records, and supporting month-end and year-end reporting. The individual in this role collaborates with HR and finance teams to maintain accurate employee data and improve payroll processes.

Qualifications: Strong skills in payroll processing and payroll administration, with experience managing regular and off-cycle payroll runs. Ability to handle garnishments and payroll taxes, ensuring accurate calculations, reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations. Experience working with payroll services or payroll systems, including data entry, reconciliation, and report generation. Proficiency in basic accounting principles, including general ledger reconciliation and payroll-related journal entries. Comfort with Excel and payroll or accounting software; ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality when working with sensitive employee and financial information. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with HR, finance, and other teams on-site.

Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred: Experience in retail or fashion industry payroll and familiarity with hourly, salaried, and incentive-based compensation structures.
