About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week rapid response contract opportunity in Laramie, Wyoming. This role provides direct nursing care in the emergency department and requires strong ER experience, clinical judgment, patient education, care coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care for emergency department patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within RN scope of practice
- Transcribe, follow, and implement physician orders and facility protocols
- Educate patients and families based on clinical needs and care plans
- Coordinate care with the healthcare team and delegate tasks to ancillary staff as appropriate
- RequirementsActive Wyoming Registered Nurse License
- RequiredMinimum 1 year of nursing experience required; strong ER experience requiredBLS, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, And ATT Certifications
- RequiredTNCC, de-escalation training, procedural sedation module, and QPR training required within facility timeframeEPIC experience preferred; must be available for varied shifts and holiday coverage
