Description: This full-time, on-site position is an excellent opportunity for entry-level professionals looking to make a significant impact in the field of anesthesiology within the staffing and recruiting industry. As a Locum CRNA, you will be pivotal in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients in various clinical settings. This role will allow you to collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluate patients\' medical histories
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed
  • Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and practices
  • Educate patients and families about anesthesia processes and safety
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Active CRNA certification and licensure
  • Strong foundational knowledge of anesthesiology principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a clinical setting
  • Previous clinical experience or internship in anesthesiology is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday (7a-7p or 9a-9p) or Saturday & Sunday (7a-5:30p)
No call requirement
Setting: MOR or procedural suiteMOR Cases: General, neuro, healthy peds, trauma, urology, ortho Procedural Suite Cases: GI, EP, IR, MRISupervision: 1:3 in MOR, 1:3 or 1:4 in procedural suites Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
