Pharmacy Technician

Business hours are 9am -6pm Monday through Friday and Saturday 9am-1pmDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures and patient/customer protocols. Comply with all current government regulations and professional standards respecting patient care.2. Maintain licensure, knowledge, and competency in current and developing techniques, professional standards, and the services offered by the company.3. Answer telephone and record all relevant patient information.4. Handle cash and credit card transactions at point of sale.5. Fill prescription orders and prepare for review by the pharmacist.6. Data Entry for both compounds and traditional medications.7. Assist in resolving general patient issues which may arise.8. Develop technical knowledge of the products/services provided by the company and be able to provide information of the same to others upon request.9. Monitor pharmaceutical supply levels and place appropriate orders as approved by the Pharmacist.10. Potentially prepare compounded medications under supervision of Compounding Pharmacist per compounding protocols and standards.
