Assistant/Associate/Full Professor ofEconomics The Department of Economics at Furman University invitesapplications for a tenure-track position to begin August 1, 2027.We encourage applications from candidates in any field ofeconomics, with preference for candidates in the areas ofmacroeconomics or financial economics. We seek candidates who demonstrate a commitment to excellence inteaching, student advising, and research in a liberal artsenvironment. The department offers majors in Economics, Finance-Economics, and Mathematics-Economics. Faculty contributeacross the department's course offerings in addition to teachingcourses in their areas of expertise. The teaching responsibility isfive courses per academic year. We are interested in hiring facultymembers with diverse perspectives who will foster innovation in ourcurriculum and provide a rich and varied educational experience forour students.
