We are recruiting an Electrical Assistant Project Manager in Jacksonville, Florida, to support the successful delivery of commercial electrical projects throughout North & Central Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer, Electrical Foreman, Estimator, or Assistant Project Manager looking to advance into a long-term project management career path with a growing electrical contractor.
What You'll Do:
- Support Project Managers in the planning and execution of commercial electrical construction projects
- Assist with project scheduling, procurement, material tracking, and manpower coordination
- Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, closeout documents, and project documentation
- Track project budgets, job costs, and financial reporting
- Coordinate with owners, general contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and field teams
- Participate in project meetings and maintain communication across all stakeholders
- Assist with estimating, takeoffs, and bid preparation as needed
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in commercial electrical construction
- Experience supporting electrical projects in a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Estimator, Foreman, or related role
- Understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and project documentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Experience with Bluebeam, Accubid, McCormick, Procore, or similar software is a plus
