Description: Follow all ISO 14001/IATF 16949 Procedures and Work Instructions relevant to your work area. Requisitions all raw materials and supplies through the Production Scheduler and the Purchasing Department as necessary. Completes Mix Room cycle counts. Track all the inventory of raw material in the Mix Room. Track tailings. Contacts suppliers for material certificates. Arrange pickup and delivery of powder at local powder company. Leads the annual physical inventory of raw materials. Monitor tailings for remill or scrap purposes. Fill out all necessary paperwork for set-ups. Stages raw material for use on 2nd and 3rd shift and communicates Mix Room plan to supervisors and material handlers through shift-to-shift communications. Locate molding presses that are finishing and get mix ready for next setup. Record all data and information as necessary. Fill presses with raw material as needed as determined by the current work order. Unload trucks arriving with raw materials and process the necessary paperwork. Tag the raw material and enter all information in the computer system. Fill out a green work order reconciliation report which accounts for how much mix was used for each job. It is the responsibility of the Mix Room Attendant to report any unaccounted for powder loss and report it to the Production Control Manager and shift supervisor. Organize the Mix Room and make sure that the area is safe and clean at all times through practicing 7s, conducting routine safety audits and rack inspections, identifying safety concerns and working with leadership to resolve any safety issues. Serves as backup and relief for the Material Handlers. Responsible for training new hires on Mix Room responsibilities. Maintain forklift certification and practice safe driving at all times. Relieve Sintering and Molding Operators for scheduled breaks. Assist the production floor and support areas as needed. Other duties as assigned.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust be a licensed forklift operator. Computer experience is required.
