CAFÉ / RETAIL TEAM MEMBER

Pay and Benefits: Hourly pay: $15.00/hr Part-time and full-time positions available Full-time benefits include a generous benefits package; medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, parental leave, wellness program, and 401k plan.

Essential Functions: Take food and drink orders using the POS system. Serve grab-and-go café menu items to guests. Make coffee and drinks as ordered. Serve as retail cashier for museum gift shop. Monitor and restock items for the café and gift shop as needed. Keep café and retail area clean. Serve guests in the outdoor café seating area as needed. Participate in weekly inventory process. All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be at least 18 years old. Prior experience in hospitality a plus. Prior experience as a barista a plus. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Must be able to obtain Texas Food Handlers license within 14 days of start date. Must be able to obtain TABC Certification. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 25lbs regularly.
