⚡ Electrical & Controls Engineer II | Power Generation | Hybrid – Denver, COOur client is looking for an experienced Electrical & Controls Engineer II to support a major power-generation construction project. If you have hands-on combustion turbine electrical engineering experience and can hit the ground running in a construction environment, this could be a strong fit.
What You’ll Do: Provide electrical engineering support throughout design, construction, installation, and commissioning. Review EPC contractor drawings, submittals, studies, and technical documentation. Manage RFIs, NCRs, design clarifications, and specification variances. Support field teams with electrical troubleshooting and construction-related technical issues. Coordinate with project engineering, construction leadership, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; ABET accreditation preferred.7+ years of electrical engineering experience, ideally supporting power-generation projects. Direct combustion turbine experience is required. Experience with EPC environments, electrical design reviews, RFIs/NCRs, and construction support. Willingness to travel and work onsite at project locations near Mead/Denver, CO.Experience with GE, Siemens, or similar combustion turbine equipment, plus commissioning/startup experience, is highly valued.
