Valley Regional Medical Center - 26 Week Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Overview: NorthStar is looking for 2 Cardiac Anesthesiologists to join our team in Brownsville, TX working 26 weeks on/off per year. MD will do their own cases. Approximately, 80-100 hearts per year shared between cardiac MDAs. TEE proficiency required, certification is a plus! Mix of General and Cardiac, Physician only cases. Level 3 trauma center. Staffing ModelMon-Fri 7a-3p: We run 9 ORs – 5 are autonomously covered by CRNAs – 2 are covered by MDs.1 CV OR & 1 OB OR are covered by their respective teams.
