Shipper - Small Parcel

Job Summary: Shipper: Primarily responsible for processing shipments with computer software for UPS and Fed Ex. This position will pick and organize customer orders and ship them via UPS and Fed Ex. Essential Duties/Responsibilities for Shipper: Pick and organize customer order printouts Gather packages and/or cases of product from warehouse, ensure accuracy Tape all packed boxes or cases sufficiently for shipment Weigh each box and record all weights on customer pick sheet Enter customer number into UPS or Fed Ex computer Print shipping labels, place labels on boxes and stack on pallet Follow procedures for warehouse shipping duties Required Skills and Abilities for Shipper: Basic knowledge of computer General math skills Ability to follow directions Speak and read English Dependable team player Prior small parcel shipping experience Education and Experience – Shipper: One year of general work experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands: Shipper: Standing or walking for up to 8 hours Sitting for up to 1 to 2 hours Bending and light to heavy lifting up to approximately 60 pounds Position Type and Expected Hours of Work –Shipper: Full time, Non-Exempt (hourly)Monday – Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
