Job Description:
This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership of workplace safety and knows how to build a culture around it — not just enforce a checklist.
What You'll Do:
- Build and manage EHS programs that keep the company compliant with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulations
- Lead audits and inspections, then turn findings into real improvements
- Own incident investigations from root cause to corrective action
- Train employees and leadership on safety best practices
- Track EHS metrics to guide smarter safety decisions
- Keep emergency response plans current and tested
- Mentor site-level safety staff or coordinators
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree (Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related — Master's a plus)8+ years of EHS experience, including 3+ years leading a team or program
- Solid grasp of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and ISO 14001/45001 standards
- Manufacturing background in food & beverageEHS certification (CSP, CIH, CHMM preferred)
