Experienced Tree Climbing Arborist/Sales

Job Description: Primary Job includes: Climbing You need to be able to work cooperatively as part of a team, be eager to learn, have a good attitude, and have a good work ethic. Train new young employees in proper climbing and tree care practices Maintain work records daily Loading/unloading equipment/tools Keeping the work area clear of debris, cleaning up limbs and branches as they are brought down in tree cutting work. Raking area clear to maintain the safety zone. Feeding limbs and debris into chipper Driving to and from the customer’s home Using chainsaws to cut trees/shrubs into manageable pieces Lower branches with ropes or block tackle Work outdoors in all seasons Operate equipment such as a chipper, loader, chainsaw, and other equipment Adhere to all safety rules and company regulations Must be able to pass a background check & drug screeningCDL license a plus Sales Inspect trees and identify potential health or safety concerns. Meet with customers and recommend appropriate tree care services. Prepare accurate estimates and sales proposals. Follow up on quotes and close sales Stay knowledgeable about arboriculture, safety standards, and local regulations. Starting salary is based on experience.
