Electrical Test Technician

My client, a growing manufacturer of critical power distribution equipment, is seeking Electrical Test Technicians to join their team in Aurora, OH. This role is responsible for inspecting and testing electrical and electronic power equipment, transformers, circuit breakers and related components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with AC/DC power and control circuits up to 480V, using voltmeters, current meters, and oscilloscopes and reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical PPE, hand tools and standard electrical safety procedures is required. An Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or at least 2 years of power industry experience is preferred. The Test Technician will perform component testing, troubleshoot electrical systems, complete test documentation and occasionally assist with repairs, wiring, crimping and assembly. Basic computer skills are required, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, file management and computer-based testing programs. Strong attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work independently are important for success in this position. This is an onsite position with a choice of 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, or 2nd shift, Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:30 AM.
