Work Environment: This position is based onsite at our comprehensive rehabilitation center, where we maintain a structured yet supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities: Assess patients' needs through detailed evaluations, determining their goals and treatment options. Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused, personalized therapy sessions that maximize recovery and progress. Develop and implement effective treatment plans using evidence-based practices and innovative techniques. Utilize a variety of treatment modalities to address pain management, improve mobility, and promote functional independence. Educate patients about their conditions and encourage adherence to treatment plans to optimize recovery. Monitor patient progress, documenting each session's outcomes and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve goals. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Empower and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, promoting healthy lifestyle choices that enhance overall well-being. Patient Population / Client FocusThe majority of our patients are individuals covered by private medical insurance, each presenting unique orthopedic challenges ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist at Grandcare Physical Therapy Services, you will have the opportunity to work closely with these patients, crafting personalized fitness and wellness programs that address their specific requirements and health goals.

Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution. Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Hampton, Virginia, with no prior disciplinary actions against the license. Strong manual therapy skills and the ability to develop effective, individualized exercise programs. Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software applications such as WebPT, enhancing patient documentation and care coordination.

Preferred Experience: Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. A proven track record of successful patient outcomes through innovative therapy techniques. Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation strategies and best practices in patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits: The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
