Apply for this role →Change a life with just one phone call. AccentCare Hospice is looking for compassionate volunteers to make friendly check-in and companionship calls to patients and caregivers. Your conversations can provide comfort, reduce loneliness, and brighten someone's day, all from the comfort of your home.
What You'll Do:
- Make weekly companionship/check-in calls
- Offer encouragement and a listening ear
- Report any concerns to our hospice team
Commitment:
Just 1–3 hours per week
Before You Begin:
Our onboarding process is completed in person at our office and includes orientation, a background check, and required screenings. We'll guide you through every step!
No medical experience is needed, just a kind heart and a desire to make a difference.
