CNC Lathe Machinist Location: Valencia, CA Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM Training: 1st Shift for the first couple of weeks Overtime: Required during the week and weekends as needed Pay: $21.00-$35.00/hr DOE Position OverviewSeeking an experienced CNC Haas Lathe Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision aerospace components. Must be able to read blueprints, make adjustments, and maintain quality standards.
Essential Duties:
Set up and operate CNC Haas Lathes Read and interpret blueprints and planning documents Adjust tooling, speeds, feeds, and offsets Make minor program changes and prove out programs Inspect parts using precision measuring tools Perform basic machine maintenance and tool adjustments Maintain accurate production and inspection records Work with Engineering and Quality as needed QualificationsU.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR required) High School Diploma/GED 5+ years of recent CNC Haas Lathe experience Strong blueprint reading skills Knowledge of tooling, speeds, feeds, offsets, and program adjustments Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Preferred: Aerospace/MRO experience
