Senior Accountant

Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, account reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and month-end close activities. Support payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and cash management processes. Assist with project accounting, job costing, and revenue recognition for customer engagements. Monitor project performance and support operational reporting, contract tracking, backlog reporting, and financial analysis. Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and support management's review of business results. Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and operational performance metrics. Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis initiatives. Support accounting process improvements and internal control enhancements. Play a key role in an upcoming accounting system implementation and ongoing technology initiatives. Collaborate closely with operations leadership, project managers, and executive management on financial and operational matters.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3+ years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting. Experience in construction, contracting, project-based services, engineering, industrial services, manufacturing, or similar environments is highly preferred. Exposure to job costing, project accounting, percentage-of-completion accounting, or labor-intensive businesses is a plus. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting and ERP systems. Ability to work independently in a hands-on environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both financial and operational personnel.
