About the Role: Bathing Brands is looking for a Remote Product Catalog Manager to lead the daily operation and continued improvement of our growing, multi-brand product catalog.
Please note: Candidates must reside in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Arizona, or Florida to be considered for this remote position. Our eCommerce ecosystem includes more than 40 brands and thousands of technically complex products across multiple websites serving consumers, dealers, trade professionals, and commercial customers. Behind those products are extensive specifications, configurations, accessories, compatibility requirements, pricing structures, and product relationships. This role will lead our Product Catalog team and serve as the central owner of catalog operations across our eCommerce ecosystem - including SKU creation and standardization, product information, taxonomy, manufacturer product and pricing updates, catalog architecture, product relationships, and ongoing catalog optimization. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys understanding how products work, organizing complex information, establishing scalable standards, solving problems at their root cause, and driving improvements through completion. We are not looking for someone to simply maintain the catalog we have today. We are looking for someone who will make it better.
What You'll Do: In this role, you will lead the Product Catalog team while owning the structure, quality, governance, and continued evolution of the catalog across our eCommerce ecosystem.
Your responsibilities will include: Lead, prioritize, and develop the Product Catalog team while remaining actively involved in complex and high-impact catalog work. Own the day-to-day health, accuracy, structure, governance, and continuous improvement of our multi-brand product catalog. Own SKU creation and standardization across our ecosystem for both manufacturer/distributed brands and Bathing Brands Exclusive brands. Establish scalable standards for SKU structures, variants, kits, parent/child products, accessories, replacements, configurable products, and other complex product relationships. Manage manufacturer-driven product introductions, discontinuations, replacements, pricing and MAP changes, specification updates, digital assets, and other catalog changes from receipt through implementation Ensure product and pricing changes are accurately reflected across ERP, eCommerce websites, IDMs, and other applicable systems and channels. Own standards for product attributes, specifications, classifications, naming conventions, relationships, and data quality. Continuously evaluate and improve product taxonomy, categories, subcategories, filters, facets, and catalog architecture. Ensure products are organized around how customers understand and shop for them - not simply how manufacturers provide the data. Identify systemic catalog problems and drive root-cause solutions rather than repeatedly correcting individual symptoms. Improve product discoverability, comparison, compatibility, cross-sell, upsell, replacement, and related-product relationships. Establish repeatable workflows, QA processes, documentation, and controls that allow the catalog and team to scale. Partner across Product Launch, ERP, Web Development, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and other teams to move catalog initiatives through completion. Use available customer, search, sales, and support information to identify what the Product Catalog team should improve next.
What We're Looking For: We are looking for someone who sees a problem and wants to understand why it exists - not someone who simply fixes the record in front of them and moves on. You may be a strong fit if you: Have experience leading Product Catalog, Product Information Management (PIM), eCommerce catalog operations, product data, or a closely related function. Have experience leading people and setting clear priorities, standards, ownership, and accountability. Have a strong understanding of SKU governance, taxonomy, product attributes, classifications, product relationships, and data quality. Have experience working with large or complex product catalogs and large-scale product imports or updates. Have advanced Excel skills and are comfortable working with large datasets. Have experience with ERP and/or PIM systems and understand how product information moves between connected systems. Have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Can understand technical or specification-heavy products and ask the right questions when information is incomplete. Can move comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Have a demonstrated history of improving processes - not simply following them. Are comfortable challenging inefficient processes constructively, bringing proposed solutions, and driving work through completion. Experience That Would Be Helpful Experience in any of the following areas would be valuable, but we do not expect one candidate to have experience with everything: Multi-brand or multi-site eCommerce environments Manufacturing, distribution, home improvement, industrial, or other technically complex product categories Managing manufacturer product-line launches, annual pricing changes, or MAP updates Configurable products, kits, variants, accessories, and compatibility relationships Drupal Commerce or another enterprise eCommerce/CMS platform Acumatica or another ERP platform Catalog KPIs, data-quality measurement, automation, or process improvement How This Role Works This position is part of Bathing Brands' eCommerce Systems organization and owns the ongoing Product Catalog function and team. The Product Catalog Manager partners closely with our Product Launch Coordinator, which coordinates the development and introduction of Bathing Brands Exclusive products. Product Catalog owns how those products are created, structured, standardized, and governed within our ecosystem, just as it does for the manufacturer brands we represent. This is not a traditional maintenance-focused catalog role. The person who succeeds here will keep a complex catalog operation moving while continually finding ways to make the data, processes, team, and customer experience better.
Benefits: Bathing Brands offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our teammates' health, financial well-being, and work–life balance, including: Company-subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance, with voluntary disability and supplemental coverage options 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid company holidays Community Day for volunteer service Employee referral program Full benefit eligibility and details are shared during the offer process About Bathing Brands Bathing Brands is a leader in the steam, sauna, and luxury bathing industries. Our family of companies and brands serves consumers, trade professionals, dealers, hospitality businesses, health clubs, and other customers throughout North America. Our digital ecosystem supports multiple eCommerce properties, thousands of products, a diverse network of brands and manufacturing partners, and complex integrations between our websites and enterprise systems. If you enjoy taking ownership of complex product information, leading people, solving systemic problems, and making a catalog better than you found it, we'd love to hear from you.
