Engineering Program Manager (Direct Hire)
Location: Westminster, MD
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000/year
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site | 9/80 Flexible Schedule
Week 1: Monday-Thursday (9-hour days), Friday (8-hour day) Week 2: Monday-Thursday (9-hour days), Off FridayAre you an experienced Engineering Program Manager with a strong technical background and a passion for leading cross-functional teams? Join a growing organization where you'll oversee high-impact engineering projects from inception through completion, ensuring customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, and budget performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and milestones to meet contract requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
- Coordinate resources, materials, and subcontractors to support project timelines
- Monitor program documentation, technical data packages, compliance requirements, and customer specifications
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Lead customer meetings, project reviews, and status presentations
- Track action items and ensure timely communication between stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase project efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field)
- Strong Program or Project Management experience required
- Engineering project background preferred
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams
- Defense or aerospace industry experience is a plusPMP or CAPM certification preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
