Openwork is Hiring! – Dimensional Inspector Location: Houston, TX 77011 (East Downtown)
Shift: Night Shift | 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with weekends as needed (Saturdays currently required most weeks)
Openings: 3 Positions
Pay: Based on Experience
Openwork is currently hiring 3 experienced Dimensional Inspectors to join the Quality Control team in East Downtown Houston, near Navigation and Wayside Drive. This is a great opportunity for candidates with quality inspection experience who are looking to grow with an established company!
Job Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Perform dimensional inspections of parts to ensure they meet specifications.
Use inspection tools such as calipers, height gauges, radius gauges, and other measuring instruments.
Apply knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports.
Assist with additional quality control duties as assigned.
Be available to work weekends as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Quality Control / Dimensional Inspection experience.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of measurement tools and inspection equipment.
- Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check prior to receiving an employment offer.
