The Role:
• Location: East Coast, U.S. (home-office based; specific territory assigned based on candidate location)• Reports to: General Manager Rotisol USA• Type: Full-time, field-based As Regional Sales Manager (RSM), you'll be the face of Rotisol on the East Coast. You'll plan and execute the sales activity that grows our share in the region, putting Rotisol rotisseries in front of the chefs, operators and designers who shape the foodservice market. You'll work independently with real ownership of your territory, while partnering closely with leadership, our service team and our headquarters in France. Key Responsibilities:
• Grow sales and market share across your assigned East Coast territory, pursuing identified opportunities and creating new ones.• Bring Rotisol to life through live cooking demonstrations and culinary events that you plan, set up and perform, showing what our rotisseries do on the plate.• Manage rep groups in assigned territories.• Win new accounts across restaurants, hotel groups, supermarkets and chain stores, caterers and specialty food retailers.• Build and grow the consultant, kitchen designer and dealer network so Rotisol gets specified on new projects.• Prospect actively through cold calls, visits, referrals and follow-ups.• Keep customer information, activity and opportunities current in our CRM system.• Plan your days, weeks and months, work the plan and follow through to hit annual goals.• Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts and customer analysis.• Develop and review annual territory business plans and marketing strategies with leadership and regional reps groups.• Represent Rotisol at regional and national trade shows and sales meetings.• Share market intelligence: customer feedback, competitor activity and pricing pressures.• Partner with our service and warehouse teams to deliver a smooth experience from quote to installation and beyond.
Qualifications
What you bring:
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of growing revenue.• Sales or marketing experience in the foodservice equipment or food industry.• Strong communication and listening skills, comfortable with everyone from a line cook to a corporate executive.• Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision, and a true team player.• Excellent organization and time management, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.• Experience setting budgets, building a plan to meet them and executing it.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point) and experience with CRM software.• Willingness to travel.• Valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance.
Nice to have:
• Chef, culinary or foodservice operations background.• Associate's degree, culinary degree or equivalent experience.• Existing relationships with East Coast operators, dealers or kitchen consultants.• Experience with cooking or display equipment or rotisserie is a plus. Physical demands & work environment: Physical demands. This role requires the ability to drive in metropolitan traffic, walk and use mass transit in city areas, and get in and out of a vehicle easily. You'll move comfortably in commercial kitchens, shop for and prepare food for demonstrations, operate cooking equipment, handle computer and smartphone admin. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work environment. A home office within the assigned territory is required. Depending on weeks, you'll spend some days in the field, with time set aside for planning, calls, follow-up and CRM updates. A clean, reliable vehicle to meet prospects and partners is required.
