Apparel Sourcing Associate

Role Description: Will work closely with the Director of Sourcing. Experience in sourcing out of Asia and Africa. Experience is working directly with overseas factories. Monitor open fabric and production capacity reservations and liabilities to ensure factories are level loaded. Develop and executes the development and communication of seasonal calendars to maintain deadlines. Review tech packs to ensure that cost targets and design features are aligned. Negotiate the best costs without compromising the brand’s quality or on-time deliveries. Maintain and update all costing history. Review time and action calendars before orders are placed to ensure that lead-times are feasible. Manage the creation & processing of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Monitoring each accounts gross profit margin. Prepare and submit regular reports on sourcing activities and supplier performance. Help develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize supply chain operations. Regular store visits to look at on floor product, identifying white space, manufacturing locations and price points. Assist with departmental projects on an as needed basis. Experience with printing and wash techniques a plus Open to travel
