PICU Registered Nurse

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a PRN Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse in Newark, New Jersey. Provide compassionate, skilled bedside care to critically ill children, closely monitor conditions, administer ordered treatments, and document care accurately. Work alongside physicians and multidisciplinary clinicians to support safe, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced critical care setting. Applicants should hold an active New Jersey RN license and have pediatric critical care experience; relevant specialty credentials are preferred. Specific schedule, compensation, and facility requirements will be discussed during hiring. Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). Monitor patient status, assess changes, and communicate concerns promptly to the care team. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols. Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to support safe, high-quality care.
