Senior Financial Analyst- Defense

Function: Business Partnering – Support contract proposals and performance. Provide recommendations and develop reporting/processes that improve insight and decision-making. Reporting – Develop insightful reports supporting monthly/quarterly/annual results and forecast but also support execution on portfolio of programs. Forecasting – Coordinate and prepare rolling forecast and planning scenarios using both traditional FP&A and EVMS tools. Provide guidance and advice to improve forecasting and reporting accuracy, improve results, and identify areas of risk. Financial Reporting Support – Review accounting packages to ensure accuracy, provide explanations of trends and variances, and develop reporting that helps provide better organizational understanding of results. Compliance Support – Support proposal reviews, annual rate proposals, and reviews/audits with DCAA/DCMA. Partner cross-functionally on issues to ensure FAR compliance, support external audit requirements, and protect sensitive and participate on departmental, inter-company, and cross-functional teams to improve reporting and processes, which may range between accounting, operations, government contract and/or finance-focus, and require willingness to stretch knowledge and expertise based on the needs of the: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field. Minimum 6 years of experience in a Corporate Finance or Program Control organization supporting Government Programs, ideally in a dual-segment manufacturing company. Power user of Microsoft Excel and Power Point. Experience with EVMS, Forecasting, and ERP systems. Ability to organize and complete multiple high-priority projects on schedule. Advanced problem-solving skills and strong judgement. Strong communication skills, including ability to communicate complex information to management. Creative and tenacious problem-solver with strong analytical skills
