Ideal Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to support our patient-first, modern practice. In this role, you’ll prepare rooms and instruments, assist chairside during general, cosmetic, orthodontic, pediatric, periodontal, and emergency procedures, and take digital x-rays. You’ll maintain strict infection control, educate patients on oral hygiene, and help with scheduling and documentation. Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for procedures Assist dentist chairside during exams, fillings, and other treatments Take and process digital x-rays and intraoral images Collect and document patient medical histories and treatment information Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Maintain infection control standards, sterilize instruments, and disinfect operatories Manage patient flow, scheduling support, and basic front office tasks Monitor inventory and restock clinical supplies Support pediatric, orthodontic, and emergency cases as needed Collaborate with clinical team to ensure a patient-first, efficient environment Chairside assisting Dental radiography (digital x-rays) Infection control and sterilization Dental charting and documentation Four-handed dentistry techniques Impression taking and model pouring Use of dental practice management software Patient education on oral hygiene Instrument and operatory setup Basic front office and scheduling Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Dental Assistant (state-specific, e.g., RDA in Texas) Dental X-ray/Radiology Certification CPR/BLS Certification Coronal polishing certification (where applicable)
