Produce Associate

Shift: Flexible schedule with availability 6:00 AM-4:00 PM Must be available to work 6 days per week 1 day off per week Weekend availability is required

Job Summary: We are looking for a dependable Produce Associate to work for one of our food-service vendors. This position is responsible for preparing fresh fruits and vegetables, making prepared foods such as guacamole, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and ensuring high-quality products are available for customers.

Responsibilities: Cut, peel, slice, chop, and prepare fresh fruits and vegetables Prepare guacamole and other fresh/prepared food items according to recipes and guidelines Set up and maintain an organized workstation Keep the work area, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized throughout the shift Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures Monitor product freshness and quality Properly package, label, and display prepared produce items Restock products and supplies as needed Follow company recipes, portioning, and preparation standards Safely use knives, cutting tools, and food-preparation equipment Follow vendor policies and procedures Communicate with store and vendor personnel as needed Perform other duties related to produce preparation and merchandising

Qualifications: Previous food preparation, produce, grocery, or kitchen experience preferred Ability to safely use knives and basic food-preparation equipment Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety Reliable and punctual Able to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable standing for extended periods Able to repeatedly lift, carry, bend, reach, and move products as needed Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Weekend availability required
